Hey Kurt, nice to see you back at the MSTS thing.
Budd's subway car design was called the "B.U.R.T." - Budd Universal Rapid Transit. B.A.R.T. is a completely different system that doesn't use Budd-built cars.

That's what I get for fixing textures at 2:00 in the morning. Title has been changed. Take care, -Kurt

This, this is a dream come true for me! Can you please make a skin of it for Baltimore Metro Subway? Please! I grew up around that subway, and I'd love to run that one, thanks for making this! And please tell me this will be a public release.. ;D By the way, lovely airhorn detail. Also, you're missing the speaker. It's on the same place as the air horn, but opposite side of the car. What I mean by that is this. airhorn--->|_________|<---Speaker

Although it will be a Members release only, you're more then welcome to join.
You'll have to farm out someone else to do the Baltimore Metro skin, however - but there are a number of talented skinners about here on the forum and at T-S.com. Why don't you ask around? If you can dig someone up with particularly good skinning abilities, I can do a separate release of each scheme.
Take care,
-Kurt

No release date set - mainly as I never set release dates in the first place. I prefer to release things on the spur of the moment (and that is probably how I will build the cab as well - on the spur of the moment.
Take care,
-Kurt

Hey Kurt, if the texturing is all done and only thing left is cabs and sounds...mind sending it to me for a Baltimore Metro skin attempt so it can be included with the release?

You've got the job then. Let me build the cab for it first, and sort out the files as they will be on the release models. Makes it easier on me when the units go for release.
P.S.: Just dug up my old CTA 2400 #5 rear cab view TSM project file - it'll make the Metrorail cab far easier to finish.
Take care,
-Kurt

She's in the library now. In the meantime, here is a completed cabview photo: P.S.: I decided to do away with any #5 view, as the door commands do not operate properly in the secondary interior .S file. -Kurt

Kurt,
I've downloaded the burt cars. They look beautiful on the Washington Metro. What is the command(s) to operate the doors?

Kurt, I've downloaded the burt cars. They look beautiful on the Washington Metro. What is the command(s) to operate the doors? CTRL + 7 and CTRL + 9, left and right, respectively. Glad to hear you are enjoying them. -Kurt
