Hello Kurt, Just wanted to say I love your work. You really take the time to make your msts addons. And as an Engineer and Buff I appreciate it a lot. Anyway, I was recently testing your amazing comet lll cabcar's and came across a braking issue on each cabcar. It takes over a mile to stop in emergency. I spoke with some NJT buddies who all are having the same problem. Is there anyway you could release an update to fix them or are you already in the process? Thanks for your time.

You could actually fix it yourself in the eng file!

Yup, I know that. But I don't really have the time to. I operate my train 12 hours a day then get home and crash. I only spend a few hours on the sim during the weekend.

Is getting the loco moving similar to how it is in the sim? I'll try to edit the eng file myself and see what happens!

Somewhat. Depends on what your running. The Locomotive I mainly run is the DE30AC and DM30AC. People bash it but don't know how hard they work. And they get abused by stupid engineers that go from Idle to 8 and back to idle. The unit is an amazing locomotive. The only reason it kept breaking down was from mechanics misdiagnosing the real problem. The computer system was also troublesome. But it was solved. I run my train rather smooth. Being that it is a 90 mile trip each way it can be tiring. But there is always something new. As for the GP40 that kurt built. It runs pretty close. The braking is not like the real thing. The acceleration is just about accurate. It all depends on what your consist is. And thanks. ;D

That's nice looking locomotive, you're job sounds interesting! Railroading is just one of my hobbies involving vehicles. As for the Cabcar, I ran a 3 coach,1 cab, and 1 MP36 consist. I took it up to 84mph on Chiland, hit the emergency brakes, and it stopped fairly fast. (I have not touched the .eng yet) I'm going to try my electric consist and see what happens...

Yup, I love my job thanks. Nothing better then Running a 75 foot 300,000LB 3000HP locomotive at 80 with 10 cars and another loco on the back. I love their K5LL horns. The only ones in existance. Over 20 DB louder then the LA that i don't Like.

The comet III cab car I thought was very responsive on the brakes.

Now that I've stopped messing around with my reskins I retried my cabcars at 80mph without editing the .eng and they stopped faster than my Metra cars.
Maybe they didn't install correctly?
