Does anyone out there know of a better F40PHM-2 other than the one at TrainSim? If not, on behalf of all Metra fans, is there anyone working on one or will work on one?

That is a terrible attempt of an F40PHM-2. I wouldnt even waste my time trying to repaint it! Is Metra the only ones to run that particular model of the F40?

As far as I know, yes but I could be wrong. Totally agreed that it is horrible version. But, in the absence of any others, thats all we have. Argh.

The MILW F40C's bear no relation to the Metra F40PHM/PHM-2.
The Winnebagos are unique to Metra, and if I recall correctly, were of the last F40 carbody produced by EMD in '92-93.
That said, the only other units sharing that bodystyle were the prototype F69AC's, but the similarities pretty much began - and stopped - there.

WELL!!! If somebody makes one I'll paint it! I asked a model maker friend of mine to make one and sell me the rights to it but I don't think he really wants to.

I am actually surprised to see the F40phm-2 is such a "unicorn" or mythical figure in MSTS. I figured for sure some one would have done a better one by now. The F40C MILW ran that got transfered to METRA had a pretty sweet paint job to. Check 'em out on the orginal webpage i referenced, Brad Metra page.
