Some interesting things you will see in an actual Caltrain F40PH-2C cab. Its my all time favorite locomotive, and I know a TON about these locomotives. I have gotten up in the cab of one many times. I got my first ride in a Caltrain F40PH-2C even when I was 9 years old. It just brings back old memories and to see Kurt model one, and Andrew Robb to make a caltrain version, it almost brings tears to my eyes. I had cancer at the time. And Caltrain put me up for a cabride in one. Thats why I love them so much. Anyways, here.

Patrick, that dial you have marked "ditch light indicator" is a solid knob, at least, on Caltrain 920.
I'd fix that top part if I knew how Caltrain has that bit set up. Pretty much too late at this point though - sorry. I might release an update that will enable the door indicator though - that would be fairly easy.

P.S.: Anthony Wood has been working on some beautiful night cab versions. Photos are on Train-Sim.com.

Kurt. Dont worry. None of that bothers me a bit. And yes. The 3 engines are all unique in a way. Im just glad you are making one. Its very exiting.

Today on Trainsim.com a sound pack for the KLW Trainsim's F40PH-2C was released. Of course I just had to look for the loco's and sadly they are not released yet. What I have seen on this thread, we have treat coming!

Pretty good job on those sounds... I was offered a cabride inside a coaster F40 a few years back. Had a great time. The sounds are just about 98 percent accurate. Coaster's F40s are really unique i must say.

Hold off on those, Shawn - remember, you wanted the MBTA shape. Those will be done after the main release of these five, for they use standard control stands.

Hi, I have had these engine for quite some time! I love them, as they may be the best-looking models I have yet seen! I am, however having some troubles with interior engine sounds. They do not seem to work while playing in the game. I have tried playing around with the sms files, and it only makes it worse. Can anyone help?
