Less then Forty-eight hours after release my friend Grant and I repainted the NJT Comet coaches into a fictional paint scheme. I must honestly say the Comets are the most beautiful pieces of commuter equipment that I've ever seen for MSTS, and I'm blown away, even though I've never seen a Comet in person, they are one of the most unique cars in this country and in commuter operations. My fictional commuter railroad, TrailBlazer (TRBX) has purchased a few cars and are going to use them in expanding commuter services. As of now, until the order of cab control coaches arrive we are going to use our older (about six months older) bi-level cab cars in push-pull service. Our fleet of 15 F59PHI's will be the main power, and recently TRBX has purchased three ex-BNSF nee-ATSF B40-8W's that will be rebuilt into "B41AC's", and will be used on heavier trains to and from our service areas. Below are a few shots I hope you all enjoy. Thank you.
P.S. Thank you Kurt and his team for their hard and beautiful work. I wish you all a very safe and happy Labor Day 2008!
I second Kurt, and also, Kurt would you please release a set of blanks for the Comets?
Can do so, though I'd prefer to finish off the NJT set first.
That said, it really is a set that doesn't require blanks, though it would benefit from having a .PSP file released so that one can add striping under the windows without ruining the smooth antialiasing around the rubber edge.
"Because you're cool, Kurt." "So is my refrigerator."
