Anyone thought about a F40PH, F40PH-2, or F40C in the old RTA paint scheme? How about the Metra Cab Car and Coach with the RTA paint scheme. Also does anyone have any other Metra F40PHM-2 than the one on Train-sim?

Do you have a picture of the paint job? If so post it.

Not a problem, This guys web page is pretty all inclusive for METRA and RTA.

Sweet, Definately looking forward to that. Did you get the cab cars or just the F40PH-2? I think Means Loco Works has a sweet cab car and coach.

Having technical issues with the loco right now. Don't know if it can be resolved or not. Paint job came out good though. I did the loco and the bi-level cars. Got the license from NALW but they restricted me to releasing it at Train-sim only, unless Kurt can pull some strings with them?

More people will see it at Train-Sim.com then here. After all, other then the Freightanim, there is nothing else of my work on it.
Take care,

J.J., correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you receive permission to release this skin at Train-Sim.com? I would not argue with that!

I have the license from NALW to release but I still have the problem that I discussed with you about it not appearing in MSTS. I've tried everything and it still won't show so I just stopped working on it. Every time I ask someones help they just tell me to try things that I already tried and it don't work so I'm at a dead end. I posted pictures of it and asked for anyone that may have a solution to the problem and never got a reply from anyone so I deleted the post due to lack of interest after two weeks. It appears in shapeviewer but not in MSTS. This is where thr project is at present.

Zip it up and send it to me with all the documentation you intend to use in its release. I'll fix whatever needs to be taken care of.

Trying to contact the author of the cars for permission. Would those be the MASW cars? -Kurt

I got permission to use thw MASW coach and cab car but the cars that I have allready repainted are not the same, they are not MASW's. I don't know who's coaches I painted. As soon as I find out I will release or I can just release the F 40 without the coaches. They sure do look good together though.

I don't know who's coaches I painted. Post some photos - I should be able to give you a positive ID on them. -Kurt

I think I found out about the cars. They may be modifications of the original MSTS superliner modified by Tim Kent. AMT_900.zip @ T.S.com

Hey JJ. Thanks For the Unit.
They look great. I have yet to run them in T-S.
Just a Quick observation, The F40' has a IC Brown lower stripe. I can't remember, but i think the upper was red.
The cars were smooth sided (ex cnw) painted gray with an IC orange upper stripe and an IC brown lower stripe. None of the fluted stainless cars ever saw any paint. (Metra just bought back several of these 1950's cars for service)
I guess that's what happens when they hire an ex. IC employee to create their livery.. LoL
Thanks again.

Hey Guys, i've had msts for over 5 years now and now the one time when i wanna go back and play it, my metra and rta f40ph 182 and 183 dont have a horn or a cabview file. I've been looking ll over for the NALW K5LA But people wont help me out. So if you could, send me NALW Sound and Cabview files. It would be a big help.
Thanks, Metraf40ph8226
